Diego Heu

Biography
Diego is a young French- Brazilian artist born in Natal (Brazil).  His family settled down in Paris when he was a child. He spent 3 years training alongside the sculptor Michel Lapierre , a graduate of the Rijksacademie (Royal Academy of Visual Arts based in Amsterdam)  and winner of the Eurio Prize.
Michel Lapierre acknowledging Diego’s genuine talent and true potential encouraged him to focus on painting. Diego began his tour in Northern Europe (Denmark,..)  and  Canada where he was referred to many influential contacts. They gave him the opportunity to showcase his paintings to a broader public  (in hotels and restaurants) and even perform live painting in front of audiences like in Copenhagen. Diego’s paintings have become the support and transcription of the intangible world. Painting is  “transcending shapes, crossing through the matter and rendering visible what is not. “  It is to create and set indestructible symbols into a fast changing world. Those Symbols stand out against the pictorial realism through the need to convey a sensitive truth and reality. True reality is crossed with movements, colors testifying to one’s inner self, aging civilization, universal inner strength”
“Art comes to the Artist when he starts to understand that there is something missing around him. “
